Key facts

How to compress & resize images to any KB

  1. Drop one or more images.
  2. Set the maximum size (and dimensions if needed).
  3. Download each image or a ZIP.

Image size or image dimensions?

File size (KB) is how much storage the image takes; dimensions (pixels) are its width and height. Forms often specify both, e.g. “200×230 pixels, 20–50 KB”. Set the dimensions under “Dimensions” and the size limit at the top — the tool handles both at once.

Frequently asked questions

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is resized inside your browser and never leaves your device — important for ID photos and signatures.

Does it remove location and camera data (EXIF)?

Yes. The output is a freshly encoded image, so GPS location, camera model and other EXIF metadata from your phone are not carried over.

Can I compress PNG screenshots?

Yes. They're converted to JPG (or WebP), which is far smaller for photos and screenshots. Transparent areas become white.
